Abdulsalam received the Best Trainee Talk at MNID-2024 and was selected to present at the 2024 ASTMH annual meeting!
Abdulsalam presented his Ph.D. research work at the 2024 Midwest Neglected Infectious Diseases (MNID) meeting and received the Best Trainee Talk award. This award will allow him to present his work at the 2024 ASTMH annual meeting (New Orleans) in November this year.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Yifan Wang and the Wang lab have been awarded an NIH R00 grant entitled "Toxoplasma effector-mediated modulation of innate immune pathways in non-murine macrophages".
The Wang lab officially opened in January 2023.
Dr. Yifan Wang started the Assistant Professor position in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School, and the Wang lab officially opened.
